CANopen® device profile for inclinometer

Nuremberg, Germany, March 1, 2010. The CAN in Automation (CiA) non-profit organization has released the CiA 410 CANopen device profile for inclinometer version 1.3 as draft standard (DS). The device profile is intended for one- and two-axis inclinometers sensing the longitudinal and lateral slope values and providing them with a 16-bit or 32-bit resolution.
Beside of editorial clarifications the PDO (process data object) description was extended by the definition of the counter start value for synchronous process data transmission. The specification is downloadable free-of-charge.
