DeviceNet
DeviceNet is the internationally standardized (IEC 62026-3) CAN-based higher layer protocol dedicated for industrial automation, in particular factory automation. The set of DeviceNet specifications comprises the application layer and device profiles. These specifications are developed and maintained by the nonprofit Open DeviceNet Vendor Association (ODVA).
